Physiotherapy
Diagnosis & Treatment

At the beginning, there is the diagnostic process. A comprehensive discussion allows you the opportunity to explain your situation calmly. Following that, targeted examinations take place. I take the time to thoroughly assess you from head to toe.

I focus on functionality, testing mobility, fascial connections, as well as using test batteries that provide insights into your coordination and physical fitness. Based on this, I will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Home Visits on Mallorca:

knees

Physiotherapy for knee problems aims to restore stability, mobility, and function of the knee. Targeted exercises, mobilization techniques, and manual therapy can improve muscle strength and flexibility, alleviate pain, and increase knee mobility.

ankle and foot

Physiotherapy for the ankle and foot focuses on restoring mobility, stability and function. Through exercises to strengthen the foot and leg muscles, balance training and manual therapy, pain can be alleviated, mobility improved and gait optimised.

hand and wrist

Physiotherapy for the hand and wrist aims to improve the mobility, strength and function of these areas. Through special exercises, stretches and manual techniques, hand motor skills can be restored, pain can be relieved and everyday functioning can be improved.

Shoulder

Physiotherapy for shoulder problems focuses on restoring mobility, stability and strength to the shoulder joint. Targeted exercises, mobilisation techniques and manual therapy can reduce pain, increase mobility and improve the function of the shoulder.

neck and back

Physiotherapy for neck and back problems aims to relieve pain and improve the mobility and stability of these areas. Specific exercises, mobilisation techniques and manual therapy can relieve muscle tension, mobilise the spine and improve posture.

Elbow

Physiotherapy for elbow problems focuses on restoring the mobility, stability and function of the elbow joint. Targeted exercises, stretches and manual techniques can relieve pain, strengthen the muscles and improve the mobility of the elbow.

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is a specialization in the musculoskeletal system. It deals with examination and treatment techniques that identify and address structures like joints or muscles as a source of pain.

Often, symptoms are not solely attributed to single causes and should be considered holistically. Osteopathic approaches, focusing on the fascial connections between muscles and organs, are an important and meaningful complement.

Spine

Manual therapy is often used to treat complaints in the spine, such as back pain, neck pain, herniated discs or posture problems.

.
extremities

Manual therapy can also be applied to the extremities to treat pain, restricted movement or dysfunction in the arms, hands, legs or feet. This can be useful, for example, for tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, or foot malalignment.

Joints
Manual therapy can be used to mobilize and manipulate joints, including those in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. It can be used to relieve pain, improve mobility and restore function.
Fasciae
Fasciae are connective tissue structures that surround and permeate the entire body. Manual therapy can use techniques such as fascia mobilization or myofascial release techniques to treat adhesions, hardening or restricted movement in the fascia.

Craniomandibular Dysfunction (CMD)

Craniomandibular Dysfunction (CMD) specifically deals with the temporomandibular joint, the skull, and the upper cervical joints as a functional unit.

Following orthodontic treatments, occlusal disorders, postural issues, clenching, or grinding, this region may become symptomatic. Targeted relaxation techniques for the muscles and joint mobilizations can be applied. Osteopathic techniques from Craniosacral Therapy are an essential part of CMD treatment.

headaches

Help against chronic headaches without medication.

Jaw Pain

Help against jaw pain, grinding or rubbing of the teeth, restricted mouth opening, headaches, earaches and neck tension.

Neck pain

Relieving neck tension, increasing mobility

Lymphatic Drainage

If there is a disturbance in lymphatic drainage due to various conditions such as lymphedema, lipedema, post-treatment after breast cancer, or swelling during wound healing, lymphatic drainage can provide relief.

With decongestive techniques, lymphatic drainage improves fluid flow, reduces swelling, and alleviates pain.

groin region

By stimulating the lymph nodes and lymph vessels in the inguinal region, lymphatic flow from the lower extremities, pelvis, and genitals is promoted.

Abdominal area

The abdomen is gently massaged to promote lymphatic flow from the internal organs and support detoxification of the gastrointestinal tract.

Upper thigh

By gentle stroking or pumping movements along the front of the thigh, the lymph flow is stimulated. The therapist works his way from the knee to the groin, supporting the drainage of fluid and waste.

Medial/lateral thigh

The medial and lateral areas of the thigh are also treated with gentle stroking movements to improve lymph flow. The therapist works in an ascending direction from the back of the knee to the groin.
